Motolite Res-Q is the Philippines’ first app-based roadside assistance service, now available in expanded locations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. With just a few taps, drivers can request help for emergencies like flat tires, overheating, fuel shortage, or dead batteries 24/7.

Originally serving Metro Manila, Res-Q now covers cities such as Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, and more. The app is easy to use, with flexible payment options and free service for Motolite battery users.

Whether you're navigating city traffic or driving cross-province, Res-Q ensures you're never stranded, offering peace of mind wherever the road takes you.

Motolite RES-Q is the first app-based roadside assistance service in the Philippines, designed with the needs of everyday drivers in mind. With just a few taps, you can request help for common car emergencies like overheating, fuel shortage, flat tires, or a dead battery. And if you ever need a replacement, you can conveniently order a brand-new Motolite car battery through the app.

Originally available only in Metro Manila, the service has now expanded to key areas in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, giving drivers nationwide the confidence to travel without worry. Let’s explore the new locations RES-Q can accommodate, and what services you can expect.

When Do You Need Motolite RES-Q Services?

The app is designed to support drivers when the unexpected happens on the road. You can rely on the service for:

  • Emergency battery delivery and installation
  • Flat tire assistance
  • Overheating engine support
  • Emergency fuel delivery
  • Battery charging or jump-start

These roadside services are available 24/7 and delivered by expert Motolite technicians.

Luzon

Before 2024, the service was mainly available in Metro Manila and a few nearby provinces such as Rizal, Laguna, and Bulacan.

As of March 2024, the service coverage has expanded to include several high-traffic provinces in Central and Southern Luzon, ensuring that more Filipino drivers can stay protected no matter where the road takes them.

Pampanga

Now serving San Fernando and Angeles City, RES-Q supports drivers navigating both busy highways and residential roads across the province’s commercial centers.

Cavite

Coverage extends to Bacoor, Dasmariñas, and Imus, helping ease the stress of heavy traffic and sudden car troubles in this fast-growing area.

Camarines Sur

Service currently only covers Naga City.

Visayas

In 2023, Motolite began rolling out in major Visayas cities, addressing a growing need for reliable roadside help in urban and provincial areas alike.

The expansion continued into early 2025, adding even more coverage for both everyday routes and long-haul provincial drives.

Cebu

Service covers Cebu City and nearby areas, offering peace of mind to drivers navigating major routes like SRP, Escario, or AS Fortuna, where stop-and-go traffic can take a toll on your car.

Negros Occidental

Coverage is currently limited to the areas of Bacolod City, with no assurance that Motolite can dispatch its technicians to neighboring cities.

Mindanao

Mindanao motorists are now part of the network, with services rolling out gradually throughout 2025.

Starting with key economic centers, the expansion allows for better driver support in regions where roadside help was previously limited or inconsistent.

Davao del Sur

Whether you’re in the downtown area or further inland, as long as you’re within Davao City limits, you can request on-the-spot roadside assistance.
