JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing retail sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. This role involves account servicing, inventory monitoring, competitive assessment, and field survey visits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct retail outlet sales calls, sales bookings, inventory monitoring, and merchandising.
  • Perform competitive area assessments and grassroots collections.
  • Implement and disseminate sales and marketing policies to retail customers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and report to the immediate superior with recommendations.
  • Conduct field outlet surveys and missionary selling for distributors.
  • Conduct credit checks on distributor prospects and provide feedback on creditworthiness.
  • Address and document all retail outlet requests and concerns with their distributor-supplier.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports to management.
  • Identify business opportunities or threats for the development of retail accounts.
  • Ensure all programs are implemented and reviewed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in retail selling.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to speak the local dialect in the assigned area.
  • Must know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
